We are aware of reports of a data breach affecting VETtrak. VETtrak is used by Activ Pathways to manage student information.
At this stage, we have not received confirmation that any Activ Pathways data has been impacted. Protecting our students’ information is our highest priority. We are working closely with VETtrak and cybersecurity experts and will update students and stakeholders directly if there is any risk to their personal data.
In the meantime, we encourage students to remain vigilant and take steps to protect themselves, including:
- Monitoring your email and online accounts for any unusual activity.
- Being cautious of unexpected emails, text messages, or phone calls requesting personal information.
- Using strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication where possible.
- Regularly checking your bank and credit card statements for unauthorised transactions.
If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it immediately to your service provider or bank.
